Updated October 11, 2026. BibWise is an early beta for race discovery and runner reviews.
If you sign in, Supabase handles your email and authentication. If you submit a review, we store its text, scores, race year and any results link you provide. Approved review text, year, rating and verification status can be public. Your email is not included in public reviews.
Organizer pilot requests include the name, email, race name and message you submit. We use these to evaluate and respond to pilot requests; they are not published. We record official-site clicks with race and campaign information. The API hashes a request's IP address for short-term rate limiting. Hosting providers may also maintain operational logs.
Supabase stores product data and runs the API. The website is prepared for hosting on Vercel. We do not sell your personal information. There are no advertising trackers added by BibWise in this beta. Sign-in tokens are stored for your browser session and removed when you sign out. Review drafts are stored locally in this browser for up to seven days, including their year, rating, text and results link. They are not sent to BibWise until submission. Use Clear draft to remove them, particularly on a shared device; expired drafts are removed when accessed. A shared shortlist link contains race identifiers and search filters, not your review draft.
Reviews are optional. Do not put private contact information in a review or submit a results URL you do not want moderators to examine. You can request access, correction or deletion through the organizer pilot form on the homepage; begin your message with “Privacy request.” Retention policies and a dedicated support channel are still being established for this beta.
Maps are optional and load only when you select Load interactive map. Map images then come directly from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address, browser information and the BibWise site origin. Ordinary browser caching applies. BibWise does not request your device location. Map points describe public organizer-published locations, not your current location. OpenStreetMap has its own privacy policy. Official course and directions links open external sites.
Official registration and results sites have their own privacy practices. BibWise does not collect race entry payments in this beta.
